Annual General Meeting

 

The Ontario Association of Broadcasters (OAB) Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held each year in conjunction with the OAB Conference. The AGM includes a review of the Association’s activities over the past year, the presentation of Financial Statements, and reports from Committee Chairs outlining their committee’s work, key achievements, and future priorities. The meeting also provides an opportunity for the Nominating Committee to present its slate of nominees for available positions on the Board of Directors.

 

Notice of the Annual General Meeting will be provided to members at least ten (10) days prior to the meeting date. A quorum for the AGM requires the presence of at least 25% of OAB members who are duly registered and entitled to vote, or their duly appointed voting alternates. Votes may also be cast by proxy.

 

The 2026 Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, followed by the CONNECTION 2026 conference.
