As SVP, Mike is responsible for the overall direction and management of all business related to the Technology, Media and Telecom practices at Harris/Decima. He comes to Harris/ Decima from Angus Reid Strategies/Vision Critical where he was the SVP and Managing Director for all syndicate research products and the Media practice.
Prior to Joining Angus Reid Mike was at Nielsen Media Research where he was President of the Canadian business for 5 years. During his time at Nielsen Mike was involved in the implementation of People Meter audience measurement in Canadian local markets managing Broadcast, Agency, and Cable companies at a senior level. He also launched internet measurement research in Canada and developed Canada’s competitive media expenditure service. He has appeared on Talk TV, Business News Network as an expert in media measurement, research and analyses.
Mike has a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Western Ontario and Executive Development education from both Queens and Harvard. Mike is a board member of the National Advertising Benevolent Society.
