Community Service Awards
The entries for the Community Service Awards are now closed.
The Ontario Association of Broadcasters’ Community Service Awards are presented to stations for their outstanding contributions of airtime and staffing to worthwhile organizations in their respective communities.
The Ontario Association of Broadcasters is now accepting entries for their annual Community Service Awards. Simply follow the prompts to the online entry form, where you can upload your full entry including your audio and/or video!
The Community Service Awards program acknowledges the generosity of broadcasters and also recognizes the creativity in creating a successful public service campaign. The success of these causes in many cases lies with the broadcaster’s ability to promote and encourage people. In a time when there are so many different and equally worthy causes, it is a very difficult task to create the perfect campaign or program that will encourage people to assist those in need.
The Ontario Association of Broadcasters invites all Ontario MEMBER radio and television stations to enter their best public service campaign(s) to the OAB Community Service Awards. Entries must be received by October 18, 2013 and campaigns must have run between September 1, 2012 to August 31, 2013.
Awards will be presented during the OAB Gala Awards Dinner, Thursday, November 7, 2013, at Toronto Airport Marriott Hotel, immediately following the OAB fall conference, Connection 2013.
Remember to save your creative for submission to this year’s Community Service Awards. Entry forms will be sent out in August. For further information, please contact Valerie Skivington at the OAB office, 905-554-2730 or through memberservices [at] oab.
