Anyone who has worked in the industry for ten years or more is encouraged to complete the form and be included in the Ontario Broadcast Order of Achievement.
Applicants are invited to attend the Gala Awards Dinner to accept their Ontario Broadcast Order of Achievement among their peers. Persons who have already been inducted into the CAB’s Quarter/Half Century Club need not re-apply.
There are three levels of recognition:
- Bronze for 10-14 years of service
- Silver for 15-24 years of service
- Gold for 25+ years of service
Applicants have the option of attending the OAB Gala Awards Dinner where they will be presented with their certificates. Persons wishing to be recognized for their tenure in broadcasting may do so by applying on-line, or by submitting their entry via pdf form.
This is the first year the OAB will be presenting the Ontario Broadcast Order of Achievement award. Other regional Associations across the country have agreed to continue this long-standing tradition of broadcasting.
Presentations will take place at each Association’s award dinner. The Annual Gala Award Dinner will be held on Tuesday, November 6th, 2012, immediately following the OAB fall conference, Connection 2012.
